What this site is
US Dealer Blacklist publishes complaints about vehicle sellers in the United States, filed by the people they happened to. Right now that is 0 reports about 0 sellers, describing $0 in losses their buyers say they took.
The reason the site exists in this shape is narrow and specific: when someone is about to wire a deposit to a seller they found online, the thing they have in hand is a phone number and a website. So those are what this site is organised around. Every number and every domain in the database has its own page, and that page answers one question.
Part of a reporting network
US Dealer Blacklist is one of several sites that share a single database of reports. A complaint filed on any of them appears on all of them. They exist separately because the people who need them arrive by different routes and read differently — someone checking a number mid-transaction wants a verdict, someone researching afterwards wants the whole file.
How reports get published
A moderator reads every report before it appears, usually within a day. We check that it is first-hand, that it is not a duplicate, and that it does not expose anyone's personal details — including the filer's own. If you are a business named here
You can respond publicly on your own listing, and we publish responses essentially as written. If the listing is wrong — or if a fraudulent seller is using your address or trading name, which happens constantly — use the dispute form. We correct factual errors quickly and we say what changed. We do not remove accurate reports because a business objects, and we do not accept payment to change a listing.
How this is funded
Filing a report is free, reading the site is free, and businesses cannot pay to alter, suppress or improve a listing. If that ever changes, it will be stated on this page before it takes effect.
